The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS) in partnership with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) have standards that Altercare have adopted. In order to be transparent in communication efforts with residents, their representatives and staff – we will provide routine updates in relation to respiratory symptoms. The information presented below will be updated at least weekly or by 5pm the next calendar day following the subsequent occurrence whenever three or more residents or staff, with new onset of respiratory symptoms, occur within 72 hours.
